Our 11-Step Puppy Journey
This is the updated path from first application to go-home day. We use a careful approval process because puppies are placed quickly and every puppy deserves the right family.
- Application. Submit your Puppy Application. We review your home, experience, and goals.
- Interview. We follow up by phone or video to answer questions and discuss the right litter for you.
- Approval. Once approved, we help you plan for a current or upcoming litter.
- Puppy Selection. When puppies are old enough and matches are ready, you select or are matched with the right puppy.
- Deposit. After approval and puppy selection, a $500 deposit holds your puppy. Deposits are non-refundable unless Reager’s House determines otherwise.
- Litter Planning. We confirm the planned pairing, expected dates, and timing.
- Pregnancy and Birth Updates. We share pregnancy progress, whelping updates, and early puppy milestones.
- Puppy Culture Updates. Weeks 3–7 include photos, weight checks, handling, enrichment, and Puppy Culture milestones.
- Health Records. Vaccinations, deworming, microchip, vet exam, and paperwork are prepared.
- Go-Home Prep. Final health checks, AKC papers, starter kit, transport planning, and pickup/delivery coordination.
- Lifelong Support. We stay in touch for the life of your dog.
Deposit note: A puppy is not held until the deposit is received after approval and puppy selection. Deposit transfer to another litter is handled only at Reager’s House discretion.
